We’re dismantling this 1994 Yamaha WR250 at Derrimut. It’s a two-stroke enduro built on the YZ250 motocross platform, with the kickstart, wide-ratio gearbox, softer suspension and full lighting kit that turn a race bike into something legal and comfortable to ride on a fire trail all day.
Parts off this WR250
- Cylinder barrel, head, piston and power valve components
- Reed valve assembly, carburettor and airbox
- Expansion chamber and silencer
- Kickstart mechanism, gearbox internals and clutch
- Forks, triple clamps and wheels
- Swingarm, rear shock and linkage
- Front and rear brake calipers, discs and master cylinders
- Plastics, fuel tank, seat and lighting coil components
Because the WR250 shares so much of its engine architecture with the YZ250 motocrosser of the same era, a lot of what’s coming off this bike also suits a YZ250 needing a rebuild, and vice versa. Enduro riders keeping an older two-stroke Yamaha on the trail are the main buyers we see for parts like these, usually after a specific worn item.
Everything is a used take-off, checked over before sale – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from our Derrimut yard. See the Yamaha parts category for more, or check the FAQ for shipping details. Have a wrecked WR to sell? Visit sell your bike. Ask about a specific item even if it’s not listed yet – we’re still working through this bike piece by piece. Enduro riders and racers rebuilding a two-stroke Yamaha are the main buyers we see for parts off a bike like this. Give us a call and we’ll check what’s on hand.
