This 2008 Yamaha YZ450F is also coming apart at our Derrimut yard, a later example than the other YZ450F we’re currently wrecking. It’s the same carburettor-fed, four-stroke motocross formula Yamaha refined over several seasons, built purely for the track with a titanium-valved top end and aluminium perimeter frame.

Because the YZ450F changed only in detail across these carburetted model years, parts off this bike are a safe bet across a range of years either side of 2008.
