We’re wrecking this 1998 Suzuki RMX250 at our Derrimut yard. Like every RMX250, it’s a liquid-cooled two-stroke enduro built off the RM250 motocross platform, with the trail-friendly gearing, softer suspension and lighting coil that turn a race bike into something you can legally point down a fire trail or bush track for a full day’s riding.
Parts off this RMX250
- Cylinder barrel, head, piston and reed valve assembly
- Carburettor, airbox and power valve components
- Expansion chamber and silencer
- Gearbox internals, clutch and kickstart mechanism
- Forks, triple clamps and wheels
- Swingarm, rear shock and linkage
- Front and rear brake calipers, discs and master cylinders
- Plastics, fuel tank, seat and lighting components
By the late 90s the two-stroke enduro class was thinning out as four-strokes took over, which makes surviving RMX250s and their parts harder to source new every year. If you’re keeping one of these running, this donor is a straightforward source for engine, suspension and electrical parts that dealers simply don’t stock anymore, and one of five RMX250s currently coming apart in our yard.
Everything is a used take-off, checked over before it goes out – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from Derrimut. See the Suzuki parts category for more, or check the FAQ for how shipping works. Have your own two-stroke to move on? Visit sell your bike. Check the frame number against ours if you’re unsure whether a part will fit before ordering, and we’re happy to talk you through exactly what’s compatible over the phone before you commit to a purchase, rather than guessing from a parts diagram.
