This 2010 Suzuki DR-Z400SM is being dismantled at Derrimut for its engine and drivetrain, among everything else. It’s the supermoto version of Suzuki’s long-running DR-Z400 platform – a liquid-cooled, carburettor-fed four-stroke single with dual counterbalancers, built to be revved harder than the trail-oriented DR-Z400E and DR-Z400S while sharing the same fundamentally durable bottom end.
Engine and drivetrain parts off this DR-Z400SM
- Cylinder head, barrel, piston and gasket set components
- Gearbox internals, clutch assembly and clutch cover
- Carburettor, airbox and exhaust system
- Stator, CDI, starter motor and wiring loom
- Countershaft sprocket, chain and rear sprocket
- Radiator, hoses and water pump
- Ignition switch, coil and electrical connectors
- Engine mounts and frame hardware
The DR-Z400 engine is shared across the SM, S and E variants with only minor tuning differences, so this bottom end, top end and gearbox commonly interchange with other DR-Z400s regardless of trim. That makes it a useful engine donor whether you’re rebuilding a supermoto, a trail bike, or simply fixing a blown motor on either – and worth checking before paying for a full replacement engine assembly.
Everything is a used take-off from this actual bike, tested and checked before it goes out – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from Derrimut. See the Suzuki parts category for the rest of what’s listed off this bike, or check parts finder for a specific item. We’re also buying more DR-Z400s – see get cash for bikes. There’s a second 2010 DR-Z400SM in our yard too, wrecked separately for its chassis, suspension and bodywork, if you need both ends of the bike covered.
