This 1992 KTM 250 GS is being wrecked at Derrimut. It’s a two-stroke enduro from before KTM settled on the EXC name for its off-road range – GS was the badge KTM used on its enduro-spec bikes through the late 80s and early 90s, and this one carries the kickstart, lighting kit and softer suspension that separated it from KTM’s motocrossers of the same period.
Parts off this 250 GS

- Carburettor and airbox
- Expansion chamber and silencer
- Kickstart mechanism, gearbox internals and clutch
- Forks, triple clamps and wheels
- Swingarm, rear shock and linkage
- Front and rear brake assemblies
- Plastics, fuel tank, seat and lighting coil components
Early-90s KTMs are a genuinely difficult bike to source parts for in Australia now, with dealer stock long gone and aftermarket support patchy at best. This donor is a solid find for anyone restoring an early KTM enduro to original spec, or keeping one running for vintage off-road events rather than parking it up in a shed waiting on parts.
Everything is a used take-off from this actual bike, checked over before it’s sent out – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from Derrimut. Browse the KTM parts category for more from this era, or get in touch via contact us about a specific part. Vintage enduro collectors and restorers are the main buyers we see for parts off a bike this age. Given how few of these survive in running order, it’s worth asking even if the exact part isn’t listed yet.
