This 2004 Kawasaki KX250F is being wrecked at Derrimut. It’s from the first generation of Kawasaki’s four-stroke 250 motocrosser – a carburettor-fed, DOHC single built to compete in the 250F class that had just taken over from two-strokes at this level, and the parts coming off it reflect that earlier, simpler specification throughout.

Parts off this KX250F

  • Cylinder head, camshafts, valves and piston
  • Carburettor, airbox and exhaust system
  • Gearbox internals and clutch assembly
  • Forks, triple clamps and wheels
  • Swingarm, rear shock and linkage
  • Front and rear brake calipers, discs and master cylinders
  • Plastics, fuel tank, seat and subframe
  • Stator, CDI and wiring loom

Being an early example of the model, this bike is a useful source for anyone keeping a first-generation KX250F running rather than mixing in parts from the later fuel-injected bikes, which changed enough underneath the plastics that not everything carries across cleanly. Cycle parts here are a closer match to other carburettor-model KX250Fs of the same era, which matters most for plastics and anything bolted to the airbox.

Everything is a used take-off, checked over before sale – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from our Derrimut yard. See the Kawasaki parts category for more, or use the parts finder to search by part. Got a wrecked 250F to sell? Visit sell your bike. We’re happy to check whether a used part matches your exact carburettor-model year. The switch to fuel injection on later bikes changed more than just the intake system. Ask us to double check a specific measurement if you’re not sure it will fit your bike.
