This 1999 Kawasaki KX125 is being dismantled at Derrimut. It’s a full two-stroke motocrosser – liquid-cooled, disc brakes front and rear, upside-down forks – built for the 125 class where light weight and a hard-hitting powerband mattered more than anything else, and the parts coming off it are all race-spec rather than trail-softened in any way.
Parts off this KX125
- Cylinder barrel, head, piston and power valve components
- Reed valve assembly, carburettor and airbox
- Expansion chamber and silencer
- Gearbox internals and clutch assembly
- Inverted forks, triple clamps and wheels
- Swingarm, rear shock and linkage
- Front and rear brake calipers, discs and master cylinders
- Plastics, fuel tank, seat and subframe
The KX125 shared much of its chassis and bodywork with the KX250 of the same model year, so plastics and cycle parts off this bike often suit an equivalent-year KX250 too. It’s a common source for racers rebuilding after a crash, or restoring an older two-stroke motocrosser for vintage competition classes that value original-generation parts over aftermarket substitutes bolted on to save time.
Everything is a used take-off, checked over before sale – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from our Derrimut yard. See the Kawasaki parts category for more, or check the FAQ for shipping details. Have a wrecked KX of your own? Visit sell your bike. We can also check fitment against a slightly different model year before you commit to buying. Detail changes across the KX125’s production run mean not everything is a guaranteed straight-fit match. Ask about a specific item even if it’s not listed – new parts go up as we work through the bike.
