This 2000 Suzuki RMX250 is being pulled apart at Derrimut, one of the last of its kind – Suzuki kept the RMX250 in the local lineup in Australia and Japan for years after other markets moved on to four-stroke enduro bikes, and this is about as late a two-stroke example as the model got before it was quietly dropped.
Parts off this RMX250
- Cylinder barrel, head, piston and power valve components
- Reed valve assembly, carburettor and airbox
- Expansion chamber and silencer
- Gearbox internals, clutch and kickstart mechanism
- Forks, triple clamps and wheels
- Swingarm, rear shock and linkage
- Front and rear brake calipers, discs and master cylinders
- Plastics, fuel tank, seat and subframe
As a late-model RMX250, parts off this bike are a good match for other mid-to-late 90s RMX250s, since the model changed only in detail across its run. It’s also a useful engine donor for anyone running an equivalent-year RM250 motocrosser, given how much the two share under the plastics – the crank, gearbox and top end are broadly the same components in different states of tune.
Everything is a used take-off from this actual bike, checked over before it’s sent out – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from Derrimut. Check the Suzuki parts category for more two-stroke Suzuki parts, or see bike wrecking for how we work. Got an old RMX to sell? Try sell your bike. If you can’t find what you need listed yet, call us directly – we’re still working through this bike piece by piece and can often set a specific part aside on request.
