Category: Brand:

We’re wrecking this 1999 Kawasaki KX250 at Derrimut. It’s a liquid-cooled two-stroke motocrosser with inverted forks, disc brakes and an aluminium-braced swingarm – by the late 90s a thoroughly developed race bike, and the parts coming off it are all built for hard track use rather than trail riding of any kind.

Parts off this KX250

  • Cylinder barrel, head, piston and power valve components
  • Reed valve assembly, carburettor and airbox
  • Expansion chamber and silencer
  • Gearbox internals and clutch assembly
  • Inverted forks, triple clamps and wheels
  • Swingarm, rear shock and linkage
  • Front and rear brake calipers, discs and master cylinders
  • Plastics, fuel tank, seat and subframe

Parts off this bike commonly suit the equivalent-year KX125, since Kawasaki shared a good deal of the chassis and bodywork between the two displacements in this generation. It’s a common source for racers rebuilding after a crash, or anyone chasing a specific part that’s simply not available new anymore from a dealer or importer, particularly plastics in the original factory colours.

Everything listed is a used take-off, checked before it’s sent out – never new, never boxed as genuine. We freight Australia-wide from our Derrimut yard. See the Kawasaki parts category for more, or use the parts finder to search by part. Have a wrecked KX to sell? Visit sell your bike. We can check fitment against a nearby model year if you’re not sure which parts you need. The KX250 saw a number of detail changes across the 90s that can affect fitment. Call ahead if you want to check exact fitment before placing an order online.
