This 1994 Suzuki DR650 is being pulled apart at our Derrimut yard. It’s an air-cooled four-stroke trail single, the sort of big-bore all-rounder that did commuting, dirt roads and long touring stints years before “adventure bike” became a marketing term, and the parts coming off it reflect that dual-purpose build – simple, rugged and easy to work on rather than fussy or race-tuned.

Commuters running one as daily transport and tourers keeping an older DR on the road both come to us for the same reason – dealer stock on a bike this old has largely dried up.
